4 Weeks to become lean
First Challenge, become leaner. Lets see what 4 weeks can do.
I will be doing the following:
- Eating a specific calorie intake everyday (Diet listed below)
- HIIT training 3 days a week
- Total body workout with weights 3 days a week (offset by cardio)
- 1 Day of rest.
This should kick my ass, but we will see how it holds up. I have been working out 3 days a week for the past year, but I haven't really been watching my diet. I am curious what is going to happen when I do both, and be hardcore about it.
From all my reading on diet to drop body fat you need to reduce your carbohydrate intake. Not all carbohydrates, but specific ones (bread, pasta, etc.) so my diet may seem a little strange to some, but those that have dieted before you know what I am doing. Also, most my carbs will be consumed in the morning.
Diet consists of the following:
Breakfast
1 1/2 cup skim milk with 1 scoop designer protein and 1 Tablespoon Metamusel. (120 cal + 100 cal + 25 cal)
8oz Green Tea
Lunch
16oz Water
Salad (500 cal) consisting of the following:
Romaine Lettuce
Bell Pepper
Cucumber
Almonds
Grilled Chicken or Tuna
Olive Oil and Vinegar
Snack (Pre-workout)
Protein mixed with water (100 Cal) or Tuna (250 Cal)
2 oz String Cheese (80 cal)
Snack (Post-workout)
Protein mixed with Water (100 Cal)
Dinner
1 Breast of Chicken (100 Cal)
3 servings of vegetables (100-120 Cals)
16 oz Water
